So many years ago, when I first moved to New York, Sundays had a rhythm of their own — beginning with brunch downtown and always ending at the 26th Street Flea Market. It was part social ritual, part treasure hunt. In those early days, I found a pair of spherical marble lamps — simple, charming, and to me, incredibly grown-up.
Objects have a way of holding memory — quietly, intimately — in ways that surprise us. That’s what I shared with my dear friend Charlie Dumais. For years we've been circling the idea of a collaboration, never quite finding the right moment — until now.
We are thrilled to host Brian Levy, an acclaimed pastry cook, writer and recipe developer who wrote the extraordinary cookbook Good & Sweet: A New Way to Bake with Naturally Sweet Ingredients.
Brian will share his path to writing this cookbook, and will be demonstrating one of his recipes. Book signing to follow!
Jenny Cipoletti of Cucina Cipoletti will also be joining us to share a bit about her brand, offer an olive oil tasting and showcase her pastas, salts, ana sneak peek of her new linens.
