Hello from Milton Market!

I'm writing to you from Litchfield (the town), in Litchfield (the county), which happens to be a wonderful place for adventures—and never more so than in the autumn. Just this week, I had the happiest experience of discovering a local dahlia farm, Chrisella Farm. The riot of color from thousands of fall blooms was incredibly inspiring.

There are always new adventures in Litchfield County. For me, harvest season means filling the shop with wool blankets, cutting boards from KHEM Studios, and beeswax candles.

What’s happening in the shop…

Daniel Gargiulo of Troy Brook Visions and Richard Heys will be in the shop on Columbus Day weekend.

In 1993, Daniel Gugnoni founded Troy Brook Visions on Shaker principles of craftsmanship.

Richard Heys is a former pharmaceutical researcher turned woodworking artist creating sculptural wooden objects.

Join them at Milton Market, October 12th and 13th, from 11:00–5:00.

Upcoming workshop…

Keep your eyes peeled for our next workshop with Charlie Dumais. Details coming soon.

What you need now…

Wool tartan throws, candleholders, boards, and more seasonal favorites.

Congratulations to our friends at Troutbeck on their recognition as a top resort in the northeast. We’re thrilled to be part of their world.

See you soon!
