Hello from Milton Market!

The dog days of summer are upon us. We are staying local this summer, so I've been looking for inspiration closer to home, and found it right in our backyard. Topsmead, the 510-acre former home of Edith Morton Chase, is here in Litchfield. Now a state forest, forever preserved for all to enjoy. They call it a hidden treasure, and for the uninitiated it absolutely is. Truly a piece of magic in the Litchfield Hills. We hope you'll find inspiration there, and in the shop too!

Some of our most favorite days in the shop? When Livia Cetti of The Green Vase visits for workshops. It’s 2 hours filled with fun, friendship and flowers.
